Osu Student Food Pantry

A new campus area food pantry is helping students at the ohio state university fight food insecurity.

Osu student food pantry. We have options for vegan vegetarian and gluten free diets as well as we understand these types of food may be out of a college student s budget. The location joins their main pantry in lincoln tower to serve undergraduate and graduate students. Our first location is on west campus in lincoln tower. No appointment is necessary.

The lima campus food pantry is funded largely by an anonymous donor who recognized the need among college students. Online donations can be made at go osu edu supportlimafoodpantry. All currently enrolled ohio state students who do not have the unlimited or scarlet 14 meal plans and all graduate and doctoral students in need are eligible for the pantry s services. The hsrc distributes food boxes every wednesday from 10 3pm.

It is part of the west ohio food bank family. The food pantry was established to provide non perishable food to those in need at ohio state newark and central ohio technical college. Only a student id is required to utilize the campus corner. Hours are tuesdays and wednesdays 6 9 p m.

The new food pantry can take monetary donations and donations of nonperishable items. The ascc food pantry exists primarily to support students experiencing a lack of access to food poverty and food insecurity. So give us a call when you arrive and a volunteer will let you in. The bags include nonperishable items such as ramen noodles granola bars canned fruit and veggies spaghetti and mac and cheese food that s open and eat just add water and requires minimal preparation.
